Overall Experience Reviews For Sport Clips Haircuts of Matthews Festival

I went on 7 March 2020. It appears that there is a new management team in place as all the old stylists have left and they were replaced with young ones with no experience to speak of. They also appear to be screened for personality and they are not hired if they have a personality. I sat in the chair, got a buzz cut, like a basic training haircut except a little longer, and was sent on my way. The back was not blocked, the bald spot was not touched at all, and the hair on the ears was not trimmed. All this for $15.00. I asked how long she had been cutting hair, she replied 3 years, I said 3Days?, and see repeated three years. It never entered her head I was not happy. I then asked if she could delete my EMail from the system and she just looked at me. In the meantime, older stylists were within earshot and none of them caught any of what was happening. I did not ask about the military or senior discount that I always (ALWAYS) got before at this location. Also, please note that all reviews on this page are OLD reviews and do not reflect the current system. At any rate, please remove my EMail from your system; at this point a year of free haircuts would not get me back. John R Willis

I Checked in 11/11/2019. The wait time said 1 hour, so I left and ran a few errands. I came back 45 minutes later and my wait time was now one hour and four minutes. Obviously there is a problem with instore and online check ins being placed in correct order. I told them I had to get to work so cross my name off list. A stylist game me a coupon for an mvp upgrade. Seriously? I never get a mvp as I can wash my own hair and if I want a real neckrub my partner will take care of that. This is far from the first time I've had very negative experiences with this location and sportsclips as a whole. I'm think I'm finished with this location and it's likely I may never visit another sportsclips.

This was great! This team is amazing. Always a great hair cut and MVP rocks. Same stylists- they do change seats.
